Earth Hour!!

haha maybe i'm a lil bite of late posting this blog..but for me its not all alert on the earth hour celebration...well i am actually have a lil memory on the celebration in my college last year.. but surely forget the date etc...for this year, i've been involving directly in the celebration of Earth Hour at Grand Dorsett Subang Hotel..i've been at the hotel starting from 10 am up till the celebration end at 11 pm..Its surely tiring but i gain some valuable experience and yet show a concern towards our lovely earth..hehe =)

Actually, Earth Hour started in 2007 in Sydney, Australia when 2.2 million individuals and more than 2,000 businesses turned their lights off for one hour to take a stand against climate change. Only a year later and Earth Hour had become a global sustainability movement with more than 50 million people across 35 countries/territories participating..

On Saturday 27 March, Earth Hour 2010 became the biggest Earth Hour ever. A record 128 countries and territories joined the global display of climate action. Iconic buildings and landmarks from Asia Pacific to Europe and Africa to the Americas switched off.

As for 2011, the Earth Hour Celebration had been taken place on Saturday, 26 March 2011 from 8.30 pm to 9.30 pm(local time)..maybe some of you wondering on how to celebrate it??

Its easy!! During the earth hour, all you need is switch off the light for 1 hour only to help slow down the climate change..its just that!! =) so for the next 2012 Earth Hour, show your support okay as u still need the "EARTH" to still enjoy ur life!!
